If I were mayor, I would do the following three things. First, encourage bus transport for students. Second, convert some of the roads into pedestrian precincts in the city center. Lastly, I would have more traffic lights at dangerous intersections.
I would have TheBus transport students to school so students could sleep longer. If the students could sleep longer they would do better in school. There would be less traffic in the morning and after school, reduce the pollution problems and the number of accidents.
I would also convert some of the roads into pedestrian precincts at the city center. It is dangerous to be in the city because of the traffic. There will be less people driving into the city center, and less pollution.
I would lastly have more traffic lights at dangerous intersections. Many people drive too fast. Cars are parked next to intersections, it is impossible to see if any cars are coming, so you don't know when you can safely cross the road. I also think that the police should make more effort to stop speeders.
My main concern is to improve some parts of the traffic system. Strengthening the work to improve safety and efficiency for all should be the headline of my duty as mayor.
